Fun Weekend

This past weekend Sarah went away and left me with Julie. I like Julie. Julie lives in the next room. Sarah calls her a 'roommate', whatever that is. Julie always keeps her door closed, but I manage to sneak in it when no-one is looking and when it is open.

Julie and I had soooo much fun this weekend. She let me in her room many times. I have to explore every nook and corner of her room. I sat in her sink to make sure it was a good sink, I went into her closet, I chewed on some plastic, I sniffed everything I could. After that I helped Julie vacuum, from the safety of the bathroom of course. Then.......playtime!! We played and played and played. We played until I was too tired to chase the balls and attack the string. Next it was bedtime. I was glad because I was cat-tired.

Sunday was the day Sarah was supposed to come home, said Julie. I was excited to see her. Julie and I played some more, and then Sarah finally came home!! I was so happy to see her. I couldn't wait to tell her of our fun weekend. Apparently she doesn't speak Purrenese, but Julie told her what we did. What a weekend, I am going to need a week of rest to prepare for the next weekend. I think I need a nap. 'YAWN!!' Good night!!

Kitchen Sinks, Bathroom Sinks...

I don't know why I enjoy it.

See I am a cat, in case you didn't notice the blog you were reading. I don't have any mice to chase, no dog to run from, and no kids to pull my whiskers.

I like to lay down in sinks. I like the cold metal or porcelain on my body. I like the curve of the bathroom sinks best. I love it when water drips down onto my head. When I hear Sarah turn on a faucet, I run into that room. I wait till she is almost done, then jump in. I like to bite the water drops as they fall, but most drops just hit me in the head.

I like to get into the shower just as someone gets out.

Forgive me, but I am feline.

Giraffe Attack! Sarah likes giraffes! Posted by Picasa

Home again!

Finally, I am home! At least I am at one of my homes. I am in Nevada, MO at the Male's house. In a couple of days I will be North in Lawrence, KS at the female's house. I had a great time with my friends in Joplin, MO. While my owners were away they were doing bad things. They saw other cats! They saw Sandy and Nobbs in Houston. When Tom went to run The P.F. Chang's 1/2 Marathon in Phoenix, Sarah and him were fraternizing with 3 hairless cats Fireball, Moon Pie, and Emmy. If there is one thing that makes a cat like me, Persian, sick, it is cats without hair. I have hair and I don't look like an alien. I am cute. Also, I found out they saw some wild cats at Out of Africa in Arizona. They saw Lions, Tigers, Bears, Panthers, Cougars, and even bobcats. After seeing all these they still came home to their favorite kitty, me, Zoe the best cat. I am relaxed now that I am home. I was given a new scratching post to play on. Life is good for a kitten like me...real good!
